The Blu Moon restaurant has good food, but to spend 20$ on a bowl of pasta is a little outrageous!!
ordered Spare Ribs: they were tasteful and tender....they came with a lot of sauce on them, a debateable way of serving them.. next time I would order them dry..nice smoke taste to them Baby Back Ribs: again, they came with sauce on them, but were still very acceptable in taste and ten...
The pulled pork is actually chopped pork, there was no smoke flavor, no flavor at all and the pork was dry. The pie was not as good as Shoney's. The best thing were to hush puppies.
A great place for family dining. Food and service are above average.
If I had to choose my last meal on earth, it would be from Big Bob Gibson's.
I ordered the beef brisket. It was very good and I got all I could hold.I am very pleased with Big Bob Gibsons and can`t wait to return.Next time,I`ll try the ribs.

We went into Dale Jarrett Ford to get our car serviced, and decided to run into DJ's Diner for a quick lunch. Wow, were we pleasantly surprised! The food was fantastic! The restaurant was nicely decorated, with a race theme. We enjoyed the food so much that we call in orders often. I would highly re...

A local favorite, this restaurant has a great "Carolina" style burger, loaded with chili and slaw. Very tasty. The onion rings are worth the calorie splurge. They have wonderful sweet tea with the best tiny ice cubes, and the staff is quick to walk around and offer refills. This is a familiy fri...
By far then nicest restaurant in Monroe!! The atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous and the food was delicious. We could tell everything was made from scratch, not like the typical franchise restaurant. Our server was very personable and gave great service. The best part is we thought we were done, b...
Absolutely loved it! Great food and a lot of it, very friendly servers, prices are very reasonable. Monroe's best restaurant by a mile!
I would not be writing this if I was not insulted. On 3 occasions I have eaten at Hilltop and everytime I was there I felt that if I was not at least 55 or older, I was just a fly on the wall. I called in all 3 times to make reservations and when I arrived my name was not even on the list, but 3-4 e...
I have been going to Hilltop for several years, but after the past two visits I will never go again, because of the way the owner treats his employees, on one occasion I heard him swear at one of his waitresses. An employer should never say these things to his employees. Why would anyone want to gi...
These reviews on this page do not sound like the place i went to. We had an unfriendly staff, horrible greasy food and were not compensated for one of our dishes being incorrect. They did not even try to fix it, they just told us "we are so sorry" then walked away. Again, i only recommend this plac...
I have been going to Hilltop for about 3 years now, just because there is very few choices for dining in Monroe/ Wingate. Each time I keep hoping that the experience will get better, and I am disappointed each time. The food is uneventful and greasy, the waitstaff couldn't be more annoying and inco...
The fried food is greasy. The menu doesn't change. Sometimes the service is very good and on some days its terrible. If the service is bad, going to the owner/management to complain doesn't help. The restaurant is beautiful, but the food isn't the best.
Three of us had dinner there this evening. One order was a grilled chicken sandwich platter, with some raw onion(onion slices were big enough for battered dipped onion rings)for $7.95, rubbery chicken. Another was Chicken Marsala for $12.95..same rubbery chicken and grilled Grouper sandwich platter...
