My wife and I went to dinner for our 15th wedding anniversary, and we were both most impressed. The staff was very friendly and inviting, and the waiter that we had was marvelous. I ordered the marinated rib-eye and my wife ordered the filet, and we are still arguing over which was better. As a pers...

I took my wife to Steak Street for Valentines Day and actually remember the other critic who left unhappy. He/she, like myself, did not have a reservation but a "call ahead." As the hostess explained, the dining room had been booked for three weeks prior, and the call aheads would get priority if an...

On 2/16/2009, I took five couples for a nice and quiet meal at Stake Street. (We drove 26 miles to the restaurant). We do this as a group quite often. The ambience was nice but the service was slow. The steaks were overcooked to the point of being burnt and crispy, the salad was like eating leaves and the shrimp was average. In other words, if you want to pay $26.00 for a steak and salad go to TGIFridays or save some money and go to Golden Corral.

We stopped in on a whim since we had seen this restaurant for a while. We were pleasantly surprised and wish we had tried it sooner once we tasted the food. We enjoyed the calamari albeit had a bit too much lemon juice squeezed on it. Next time we'll ask them to hold off on it and do it ourselves. T...
