Great food at great price
It was Sept. 2003 when i first came to Carolina Beach with my boyfriend, and ate at A & G BBQ & Chicken, had visited through out the years since then, and the food was just like eating my mom's food,it was real good. We had not got back out there since July 04. And after all those years went back to v...
One of the worst wine lists I have ever seen. Reads like a grocery store shelf.
The food tasted excellent. I ordered tuna wrapped with applewood bacon. I had my choice of ONE side, in this case, red skin mashers. The salad cost extra. Suffice it to say, it is pricey. Plan on buying your way through appetizers, salads, deserts, to get a sense of fullness here. And plan on openin...
It was nice to walk into a clean and nice looking restaurant but the tables were too close together and there were plants in inconvenience places. The serving staff kept walking into them and having to move them aside to get past. The service was great, very attentive. The food was average. Half...

this was a great place. the subs were big and delicious. they even have ice cream. the kids were happy and we had to go back about 3 times before our vacation ended. would definitely get a new update inside but the great people and good food overcame the 80's decor.

If you can manage to get in th...
OK, so you have to go outside to get to their rest rooms, and they also allow smoking in their TINY dining room. So, unless you're used to that sort of environment, get your food to-go and enjoy it. Their fried chicken is TOPS, so if fried chicken is your forte', then you've come to the right place ...
The food is not the best, especially for the area. The staff is rude and when called with a serious complaint, you are passed off to Managers with no authority and promised calls from the owner that go unreturned. My family and I ordered routinely from A&G in the past but will no longer due to the r...
A lovely place in a restored old beach cottage in the National Historical Registry. The food is excellent, and the owners are very caring. The menu is not elaborate, primarily seafood, but the preparation is great and the presentation is tops.A good touch of class.
Just an umimposing diner style place - fairly small and homey with some of the finest Eastern NC style BBQ you'll find anywhere. The Brunswick Stew, a must with BBQ, is incredibly good.
