Great place. Super atmosphere not "barry" at all. Rented a room to have a birthday party and it was wonderful and inexpensive. Nice nice place
We eat there all the time and love it. The food is wonderful and the staff is friendly. Cool place with lots of great photos of the area from a historic point of view. We can;t wait till the outdoor courtyard is open again.
Fun atmostphere - great food and great brewed beer. Most enjoyable in the summer when you can sit out on the patio.

For take out, this place is awesome. Not much for an actual restaurant but it is authentic and tasty.
The building itself is a little run down, but the Chinese food is, in my opinion, the best in Columbia (and I've tried every Chinese place in town). Very tasty, and they will modify the dishes however you want. Great for take out!!

I had a great time here. I stopped with my family on a trip from Kansas City to Saint Louis. The food proportions were huge and the service was great. It reminded me of Applebee's but with way more personality. The manager/owner even stopped by to make sure we were enjoying our meal!

The diner is open now in 2011 and the food and every thing is really great. We drive by there on our way into town periodically and there's always a crowd. You can't beat this place.

My family and I have been going to Jimmy's since my husband family took us there for family night. We have been back every 3 weeks since. The family who runs this restaurant have become part of our family. Try Jimmy's once and you will mostly likely go back for more.
