This restaurant was way overpriced. I got a chicken shish kabob that was good but over 15 dollars for one kabob, some rice pilaf, a bowl of soup, and some bread. I could have gone to a coney island for half the price. My wife got the breaded shrimp that was just ordinary butterflied frozen shrimp...
Ever time I come to Detroit I eat here. My favorite appetiser is their steaks bites. Best atmosphere LOVE IT....
After all the hype - it was a waste of time - forget the convenience for Fisher Theater goers. Terrible place. They were 40 minutes late in seating us for a reservation made over a week earlier. Claimed they were having trouble in the kitchen and getting food out in time. We found out why. First the...
Awful experience from the time we walked in. The Hostess had the personality of ...Let's just say I've seen Funeral Directors with better behavior. I gave 5 stars for my waitress ONLY. The Food is pitiful, the mac & cheese taste like stove top cardboard. And that Manager, OMAR MITCHELL has an eg...
My date and I went for a drink and appetizer before a play at the Fisher Theater. The place look promising-- clean and somewhat classy. It took a very long time before we received our drinks. The staff seemed quite confused, in fact, despite our simple order. When we asked for a menu, we were ha...
My experience at the Grand City Grille on January 14, 2007 was very nice and relaxing. I went during their brunch hour, the service and food was excellent. Everything was fresh and hot. On Sundays there is normally a gentlemen there who plays the saxophone/sings (puts me in the mind of Kenny G). W...
My husband and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary at GCG Valentine's Day weekend. That was our first time there and it was wonderful. There was no wait. When we were seated by this young man who were referred to us as kings and queens. The staff was very professional and polite. My husban...

Terrible service!!! The food I ordered was good but the employee was so rude I was scared to eat it. I have been to the place a few times before and everything was fine. I noticed they don't answer the phone but I over looked that. Now, this time I ordered one diner and all I got was "We ain't got d...
The food was very mediocre (cold and basically tasteless). I had to send my lunch back for reheating. Biggest turnoff was the place was buzzing with flies. This was on Sept. 1, 2001. Also, when waiter serve the flaming cheese, he accidently squirted me in the face with juice.

ths is one of the worse dining experiences i've ever had in my life. I was surprised when i saw it rated on this website. the detroit health departmet should have closed this palce years ago. my co-workers stopped going there after they found dead flies in their food. I heard about this restaurant by word of mouth. I decided to go for a real, authentic detroit experience. It is a neighborhood family restuarant that has been around for 70 years although it has changed owners. The Northlawn Grill is a place where u can find good home-cooked food at a good price ...

The food at Nunn's Barbeque on Conant is Okay, sometime better than others, but the customer service SUCKS! I was there in February, 2010 and there were teenagers or young Adults(female at registor, and a male in the back cooking) working there and my service was awful. "Just plain rude."

Top notch cuisine and service. Opus is the best Detroit has to offer. A bit expensive, but as with everything else, you get what you pay for.
