3 couples went, for a friend's birthday dinner, and we had a fabulous time. the food, wine, and service were all excellent! Planning to go back...tonight, as a matter of fact!!
The food is very traditional. The serving size is plenty. The presentation of the food is beautiful, very pleasing to the eyes as well as the taste buds. We went on a Friday night, there was a wonderful belly dancer, who entertained everyone from young to old alike.
Food is fantastic. Everything is very clean. The decor is bright and simple. The owners are very friendly and willing to please!
I am no expert on sushi restaurants but I have been to Ginza 5 times. Twice in the sushi bar and three times at the hibachi. The sushi is tasty and grilled food is good too with entertaining chefs.
Fabulous food, excellent customer service and inviting chicago style environment that keeps me coming back.
Really the only Japanese restaurant downtown, Mikado has very fresh sushi, but you'll pay more for the atmosphere and location. The service at times has been less than perfect, but all in all a good choice for Japanese food in Indianapolis.
Great place to eat or just have a beer. The locally brewed beers are AWESOME!!!
The beer is really bad, but the food is quite good.
Outback Steakhouse is never a disappointment. You can count on good-to-excellent food at a reasonable price. The waiters/waitresses really know their stuff. All in all a "better than average" place to dine.
Basically, best sushi in Indianapolis. Cooked foods are also great!!
Great traditional Japanese food. Good Sushi!
This restaurant would get a higher rating from me if the steaks weren't smothered in garlic. Another problem seems to be that children using the "salad bar" aren't monitored and some of their behaviors are less-than-appetizing!
This is THE place to eat if you really love steak. The flavor is perfection. The service can't be beat. You will not be disappointed here. The prices aren't for the weak of heart..but don't leave Indianapolis without trying it just once.
A little competition would do this restaurant some good. Prices stay high because people have so few choices for eateries in this neighborhood!
Food and service are pretty good here. The gift shop is fun to browse through. Breakfast without grits would be a welcome change!
Menu is too "limited". Smells like a dirty ashtray.
The food and the prices are what one expects from a Bob Evans restaurant. Management needs to have a chat with a few of its servers about bad attitudes. Smoking should not be allowed at the counter since the counter sits in the nonsmoking room!
I have only one thing to say: Ravioli al forno! This was the highlight of my meal. It's an apetizer but next time I go it'll be my main course. Sadly, it's a tough act to follow, and my lasagna (which was good) didn't satisfy my inflated expectations.
Wow...good stuff, but you will pay for it. Don't let the fact that its in the mall fool you, its really secluded once you are in the restaurant.
I know this is an Indy institution, but its yucky. Just walk toward the Indy Athletic club and smell around the kitchen area...nightmares.
Don't go.
Pretty good for Indy. Good beer selection and live music. Bread and salad was really good, entrees are good sized and tasty.
Only downer, its in a basement and smells it.
