Restaurant needs a good chef. Food had no flavor. Portabella soup: tasted like mushroom gravy with too much pepper, needs lightened with some red wine, beef broth, leave out strong pepper, touch of garlic powder. Pork Chop: completely over cooked, dry, should have been marinated for a deeper flavor and slow cooked to prevent dryness. Prime Rib: Just beef, no flavor again to the meat, should have cooked high first, then with red wine, shallots, garlic, thyme, marjoram and lit with cognac and cooked slow again for flavor.
Overall, nothing had any flavor or taste for the money, I was thoroughly disappointed.

The food is excellent. There is a German Buffet evry Wednesday that is outstanding. You have the opportunity to sample a number of German dishes or you may order from the Menu. Either way , you get great food and pleasant surroundings. .

I would have never thought to eat at a restaurant in a hotel until I purchased a gift certificate from Restaurant.Com. When you are waiting in line for over an hour to dine I would suggest driving to the Crowne Hotel and dining at The Landing. Earl ...
