I had the unfortunate experience of eating at this restaurant recently. The food was mediocre and the Owner's wife was one of the rudest individuals I have ever met. She reminded me of Kathy Bates in Misery.
Amber Jack Alehouse is not a very clean place. I went for breakfast and when I opened the catsup to put on my eggs, little ants fell on my hashbrowns. I only got an apology from the waiter, not the owner who was there. Catsup should be kept in the refrigerator during the night, not on the tables. ...
Very friendly people with Excellent food. Great portions too. Would recommend to anyone.
I am sputtering. This place defies description. I don't believe there are any bad enough words in the English language to describe their customer service. I really don't understand why they are still in business, or why anyone would ever go back there, after being kicked around by the owners. I have...
Bizarre! Kitty, the Hostess with the Mostess Attitude, created a nightmare experience! Within seconds of crossing the Threshhold into Hell, we all felt her wrath. She stated 5 times that we didn't have reservations. Several times she insisted that a group of 3 standing behind us were with us and tha...
Kitty the owners wife is the most unprofessional business owner I have ever met. She treats customers with no respect and has a filthy mouth. Do yourself a favor and choose another place for diner

I was eager to visit the Cozy Drive In after seeing it on the PBS Special "A Hot Dog Program" What a disappointment. The Cozy Dog was the worst tasting thing I've eaten in a while. It tasted nothing like a Corn Dog. Either the hot dog itself or the batter had a strange overpowering taste, possib...
great food the best in town 4real..
I eat at Amber Jacks on a regular basis. They have great steaks!! I have never had a bad meal there. I have had salads, sandwiches such as a Reuben, appetizers like crab cakes and godiva chocolate martini's. They have great draft beers including a seasonal Sam Adams. They will substitute one si...
this restaurant took 55 min to serve food to 4 adults and 2 children. When complained to the OWNER she seen no problems with it. She told us if we wanted faster food we need to go to McDonald cause thier food sits under warmers. Then when we stated we could have went to the Cracker Barrel and got ...

Very friendly place to stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Homemade donuts & freshly ground coffee, homemade soup, chilli, fresh cut french fries, and fresh dipped "COZY DOGS"! Great place for friends to meet and eat!

This is a fun place, especially to take the kids and get a cozy dog. There are things to look at so this is more than just a food stop.
Wine served in small wine glasses and only half full at that! Unbelievable. Rack of Lamb fatty. Caesar Salad great but, as is apparently their policy, small. Service very good. We won't be back.

Really great authentic Mexican food! Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere! Prices very affordable. Chips and salsa are all homemade. Very tasty!
Great restaurant with great food! Menu always changing with wonderful specials. Can be a little pricey, but worth every penny!

Great place to stop for a quick lunch...burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese, ice cream and of course cozy dogs...
I have been visiting Shakey's (at different Springfield locations) for more than 20 years. With 2 very picky children-it's a great place to go. It's inexpensive and the large variety means there is something to please everyone. Also, a buffet is great for kids-no waiting for the order to be filled! ...

I have eaten at this cafe on numerous, and have never revieved poor service or food quality. The atmosphere is simply charming, a wonderful to go for a quiet dinner or Sunday breakfast with the family! In my opinion, Parkway Cafe is the best of Springfield!!!
