Food and ambiance was great - make sure to try the soft shell crab - delicious - this restaurant is much more like a sports bar then a true sit down restaurant establishment so I would unfortunately not recommend it if you have young children...we had a lot of fun.
The food was good, but the bartender was rude. This did not strike me as a family friendly restaurant, its more of a singles bar.
Food was mediocre. I ordered the boll weevil burger with the chili and house salad. I was expecting a decent sized burger, but when it arrived i was not impressed at all. The Jerk Chicken sandwich, although pretty good, didn't have enough heat for this chili-head and required a boost from some of the establishment's Habanero Fire hot sauce. The raspberry cheesecake needed no such amendment - it was excellent.
For Dinner, the average meal price is about $17.00 per plate (add drink/alcohol to that). Service is good, although not the best (great service is harder and harder to find nowadays). Great atmosphere (like being at the beach). The food is extremely good. I had a Ribeye and Coconut shrimp.
Denny's quality at expense account prices! All the authentic ambience of an airport restaurant. One of the worst meals we've ever had. Be afraid! Be VERY afraid!!!
