This place rocks! I'm addicted to the Wine and Cheese. The bagels are pretty good, but the lunch menu is to die for.
Best chicken fried rice I've had in ages
Good crab rangoon
Terrible seseme chicken
Great place for pizza, and fast drive thru service.
Very nice staff, big selection. Sometimes stuff is not always labeled, which would help, but the sushi is included, and is great! Best Chinese in town. Very kid friendly.
No one answering the phone appears to understands English, and as a result, our orders are either over an hour late, or lukewarm when they arive, or both. The lady answering the phone hung up when we cancelled our order, after arguing that we were too far away ( we live 10 minutes away). The manag...
Perhaps the service is poor due to management enforced mandatory tip-pooling. This system invites the better server to not perform as well, because they have to carry the bad servers monitarily. The servers that work in a mandatory tip pooling environment are generally over-all apathetic workers. An...
Since we moved to Tallahassee in 2004, we have been big fans and frequent visitors of Chez Pierre. Yet in the past few months we have noticed that the food quality has dramatically decreased while the ambience has changed (beautiful terrace and bar under the yellow awning) and the prices are still t...
there's no better place in Tallahassee for a footlong chili-dog or a hand dipped corndog than Dog Et Al on South Monroe Street. Get there early for lunch during the week because it gets really, really busy!!!!
Your run of the mill Chinese Buffet. A big selection so you can search and try to find something that appeals to you. But chances are it will only be a couple of items.
A great place for hotdogs. Great homemade french fries and probably one of the best values in town --- if you are looking for a simple meal. Loved the ambience of an old dinner and the service was top notch. Good people work there which makes it all tast even better.
Ho hum food --- typical of many Chinese buffets. They did, however, have great pepper chicken. It was the only think I ate after going through the whole buffet from fried chicken to hot and sour soup to crab ragoons.
This is the best Cuba food in Tallahassee, but you also pay higher prices for it. The Yucca was boiled to perfection and their rice and beans are pretty good. Everything I've had there is similar to what I was used to living in Miami for five years, just a little more expensive.
Very nice wait staff, but the food on the buffet was bad, really bad. The General Tao's chicken tasted like honey chicken, the Schezuan chicken tasted like honey chicken, and the Kung Pao chicken tasted like, well you get it.
Their Lo Mein was eggy and bland, their beef was gristly. I was surpr...
My measuring stick for good Thai is Massaman Pork (a coconut curried pork) and when I went for the first time, it was the worst I had ever had. After being talked into giving them a second chance I am really glad I did. I asked the waiter what he recommended and I went with the red curry beef and ...
Overall, one of the better places in Tally. I do think that they are a little pricy for what you get and when comparing to similar places in other cities. They have great Martini's and in the slow months of summer typically run a great dinner for two deal that is worth every dime.
Good food. Unique menu. Great desserts. Good wine. A little pricy for what you get. I go back whenever I can but is definitely more like a rare treat for the wife and I.
I give this two stars with conditions --- and that is that there really aren't too many good Chinese places in town. Is this great Chinese, no, but will I go to it again, probably yes if I have a craving for something I can pour soy sauce over.
It is better than most others in town (one of the o...
We have been long time fans of Chez Pierre's but will not be returning. Living 1 1/2 hours away from Tallahassee we go there often to see friends and shop. Chez Pierre was always a treat until last week. Everything seemed the same until we were presented the menu for lunch. The creative, cutting ...
I've been told that Chez Pierre will be 30 years old this fall. Most restaurants (and businesses for that matter) tend to get stale when they get this old. This is definitely NOT the case at Chez Pierre. These folks continue to re-invent their restaurant and their offerings. Service, ambiance and cu...
I had a stunning meal at Chez Pierre last night. I frequent this restaurant and have always enjoyed my experiences, but last night was over the top! The sea bass was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the creme brulee was the best I've ever had and the service was sublime. Far and away, the best d...
