I am a neighborhood fan.
This is a downhome resturant that offers value, and good food. I always feel like Im coming to a friends kitchen and pulling up a chair to enjoy whatever the bounty is of the day.

Excellent soups and sandwiches. We had the Seafood Chowder and a Cubano sandwich. Excellent service, great atmosphere. It was quite busy at 12:00 when we ate so maybe a little before or after 12:00 will help get you in and out quicker.
You can't go wrong with this restaurant. All the soup choices are made fresh daily and are outstanding.
the fish i was served was not cooked properly(soggy)and the portions seemed small, and expensive for what i recieved.the hostess seemed angry when i mentioned the above

I live about 60 miles from here and try to make it over at least once a month. Been eating there for over ten years and never had one piece of fish that tatsted the least bit off. The best fried mullet I have ever eaten, and several friends that I have taken there say the same thing.

Food was too extravagant...too many tastes mixed together. Service was EXTREMEMLY BAD! There was about an hour wait time also. Was definitely overpriced for the experience.
Service was excellent. We had the sautéed crab claws and the sauce was fantastic. The garlic mashed potatoes were very good. The only complaint was that my shrimp was overcooked.
