The food was average, and the server we had should be replaced..if you're looking for fast service--hope you do not get her.
I didn't LIKE it. The food taste like rubber. When I bit into a rack ribs it almost slapped me in the face. Hospital food taste five star gourmet entires compared to this disgrace of a "Soul Food" restaurant.

Although we love fast service I don't think anyone can beat Mama Nems with their 4 minute wait time. This is the best soul food restaurant I have ever visited! The staff is friendly; the astmosphere is warm and comforting; the food is plentiful and absolutely unbelievable!

Hands down, Mama Nems is the best soul/southern food around. The food is very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Anyone that disagrees must have been at the wrong Mama Nems or plain out does not know what soulfood is meant to be!
I was just there yesterday for the first time and I can't wait to return. The portions are huge, the prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. The servers are very friendly. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience.
