Love the food! The Alu Gobi is delicious. The place is always crowded. They recently did renovations - great place for lunch because of the buffet. You can get in and out really quickly. They have seating inside and a few tables and chairs outside on the patio as well.

We were walking around looking for some good Chinese food and we found this place. The Chicken/Seafood soup was really good as was the General Tso's Chicken. Not very cheap but the food comes out very quick.

It is the number one Jamaican restaurant in the District of Columbia. My most favored dishes were the Jerked chix, oxtails stew and the salmon. The seasonings used were properly dispersed throughout. Dr. G. Hill

I ordered chicken satay and it came out with lots of the best peanut sauce I've had in metro area. Other restaurants' sauce I've had tastes more like liquidy peanut butter. I also had the pork in garlic sauce which was also really good as recommended by the server. I was surprised that it was pre...

I go to Steak N Egg almost every weekend during the afternoon for my favorite meal. I just love their Cornbeef Hash and Eggs! I do spice it up most days and get a 1/2 waffle with whipped cream. Its so nice to get out for a walk and end up at steaknegg. My 4 year old daughter is crazy about the panc...
The restaurant use to be known for great service however the steady flow of business has caused them to forget about the basics of customer service. The longtime employees are pleasant and well informed. However the newer employees obviously show favorites. I hate it when someone walks up speakin...

i brought a date on wed. for dinner. we had our dinner on the patio, the food and service were great. i would for sure go back.
I live near Annie's and go there several times a week, usually for lunch/brunch. Since the renovation of both the restaurant itself and the menu, the only reason i continue to go there is because of the wait staff and because I have gotten to know some of the other diners. They have taken some of ...
As a long time patron I must say that I disappointed in the quality of food as of late, especially breakfast. In fact, I am going to City Diner from this point forward for breakfast. WHY DID THE CHEF REPLACE THE BREAKFAST POTATOES/HASH BROWNS WITH THOSE HORRIBLE FRIED POTATO SLICES? AND IS IT MY IMA...
if you are into soul food, or just plain good ole down home cooking than Henry's is the place. Once you're done eating your breakfast, lunch or dinner treat yourself to their famous pumpkin pie.
The food is amazing. Really fresh and different from the regular DC lunch. Great salads, sandwiches, drinks and desserts. Excellent H&H bagels shipped straight from NYC! Delicious breakfast sandwiches. Coffee is excellent and priced better than McDonalds. The 13& I shop has the best breakfast a...
This place has gone completely colorless, pleasant, and boring. Annie's has changed for the worse. I won't be going back anytime in the evening, perhaps for brunch, but I won't be recommending it to anyone either.
As long time (11 years) habitues of Annie's, we can tell you that we will not be returning there again. The place has changed and not for the better. We had been forewarned that the place was trying for a more "upscale" dining experience and, therefore, had raised their prices. We enjoy fine din...
We are from another state but friends recommended this place to us. First, the host sat us way in the back at a very small cramped table after we asked for a booth...we moved ourselves much to his dismay. Our waitress was wonderful as we asked her way too many questions. She was the only saving grac...
Until 11/08/08, it had been awhile since I was at Annie's. I liked the remodeling they did but they have ruined the menu selections. Many of my old favorites are now gone along with the bread. The meal took forever to get to us and the place wasn'teven that crowded. Plus the order was incorrect ...
All the things Annie's has been rightfully famous for over many decades--relaxed atmosphere, good value, nice variety of comfort food and steaks--has recently been tossed away in favor of making it an "upscale dining destination." The homey booths--gone Reasonable prices--also gone Food--the sa...
