This revolving restaurant has THE best view of Phoenix. The only thing that beats the view is the amazing food! A++++
Over all this place is great.....food, sevice and all !
the food is great but if you're in a hurry, this is not the place to dine. Service can be abit slow but that is Hal's only down fall.
My wife and I were looking for something different in Mexican food. We tried Arriba's and are hooked. They are consistent. The Carne Adobada with a side of Hatch Chiles is one of my favorites and I cannot figure out the ingredients though I've tried. My usual choice though when I have a severe hot...
Just not as impressed as I used to be. The portions seem to be smaller - and food was cold. Children's meals have definitely gotten smaller - better for 3-5 yr. olds. Our waitress didn't speak English well - difficult to communicate with. Our utensils were dirty. Unfortunately, it's just not at t...
We have gone to the Phoenix Arriba for a year or so & do so on at least monthly basis. I am hooked on the Carne Adobada: best pork dish in town. Good chips; three sizes of Margaritas; three killer chip dips; and great chips make for a delightful experience.
We have been disappointed in the Arri...
I really enjoy good Mexican cuisine and was pleasantly surprised by my visit to Arriba's. The marguaritas were great and the food was not the standard bland "chain" restaurant food. My only regret is that we do not have an Arriba's where I live. If they did, it would be an instant success.
Excellent appetizers and friendly service. BUT, our meal arrived at slightly above room temerature, my wife had my vegetables, she had mine and my fries and fish were stone cold and over-cooked, bread and butter was brought to our table mid way through the meal. By the time my fries were replaced,...
Meals range from about $25 and up. Only one beef item on menu, a 16oz New York Strip steak with potatos and vegies for $30. Soup or salad not included, steak thin and over cooked. Located at a mall with parking reserved for paid, valet parking only.
My overall impression was that this restaurant...
What's special about La Parilla is the grilled meats, Mexico City style. Steaks or chicken breasts are chopped and grilled with bacon and green pepper to stuff the tacos. Try the chicken melt (white cheese, flour tortilla, chicken, bacon, avocado and tomato) or the chorizo con queso (very unusual)...
Whether you order entree's or visit the lunch buffet, the quality is supreme! Excellent chicken tikka masala. Spicy just the way it should be, the aromas greet you when you walk in the door.
Best combination lunch deals! California roll and teriaki chicken or tempura/chicken for under $6. Includes a big salad, miso soup and green tea. Quality is excellent, but come early or late, at noon it's packed!
Pink Pepper has one of the best lunch buffets in town. Spicy, high quality and lots of variety. Pad Thai is marvelous, as are the curries. The spicy eggplant shouldn't be missed.
If you sit at the bar upstairs, you can watch your food prepared and cooked in front of you. Great chefs w/ great personalities. They too deserved to be tipped !
Prices are a bit high, but the view is unbeatable. Food is delicious. You MUST slide down their slide!!!
While this is listed as a French (sic) style restaurant, it is not much more than a burger, salad, American cafe. Lots of stainless steel and music far too loud. Not for kids. Brews are generally good but too expensive. There is an outdoor patio for dining.
