Loved this place. The decor is beautiful and the food is top notch. Plus it is still a smoking establishment!
Carliles Restaurant is one of the few tradition restaurants in Scottsboro. It is not open on Mondays or Sunday nights. Every day that it is open, there is some sort of special. An example would be on Friday and Saturday night there is an all you can eat chicken, pork or boiled shrimp special. All ...

The food is fantastic-absolutely one of the best pizzas I've eaten. Good balance between bar and restaurant. We visited 3 times in one week. First 2 dining experiences was great, but the last time we had the exact same waitress as the times before and she forgot us. And we sat right at the bar an...
Liberty is more like a diner then a restaurant. The menu is short but covers all the bases. If I was rating them on Breakfast alone, I would give them 4 stars. The breakfast combo normally includes grits, biscits or toast, home frys, meat and eggs. The breakfasts are always freshly made. Lunches...
Been eating at the Liberty for over 30 years. If you like good country cooking in a friendly atmosphere, then this is the place for you. Down home and Southern style, just like Momma used to cook. Stuck in Kuwait, wishing I was at the Liberty Chuck Bryant
Simply a wonderful place. Good people, good food, good service,,,,,,,,,,,,, what more can you ask for.
When we asked the staff at Comfort Inn where the best place was for breakfast, they said WITHOUT hesitation Liberty AND THEY WERE RIGHT. Except after we ordered we wished that we had room for lunch. The lunch menu looked so good and the plates they brought out confirmed. The staff was friendly and se...
Been eating at this restaurant over 30 years...you won't get more for your money anywhere. But I will have to say a couple of changes made in the last year or two have kept us from eating here as frequently. They recently changed their method of cooking the bbq, it now tastes more like oven roasted,...
This restaurant has been around for years (at least 25 that I know of). The bar-b-qued pork is always good and the cat fish can be had fried whole, filet or baked/broiled. Baked or French Fried potatoes comes with the meal along with vinager or mustard slaw Mud Creek also serves one of the best b...
I have been dining at this restaurant for years. It is a little off the beaten path, so it is easy to find yourself not going often. The food is excellent, the best in town for seafood. The place has a homey feel to it with a very friendly staff. The laid back, country atmosphere also allows for...
We were there 3 times last week while fishing Guntersville Lake. It is a nice place to eat and very convenient to the boat ramp. The wait staff is super friendly and food interesting and tasty. I would recommend this place.
a friend and I were visiting the lake guntersville area and happened upon mud creek BBQ it was the best BBQ I have ever had and we lived off of it for five days when we went for our second trip to the restaraunt i orderd the catfish it was also very good and my fishing buddy ordered the BBQ platter ...
I first ate at this place around 1955, if you want real barbaque, then this is the place. No body does it better than this Mud Creek. If you want great food and hospitality, then jump off US Hwy 72 and get a great meal. Stuck in Kuwait and wish I was at Mud Creek. Chuck Bryant
Most tender bbq smoked in a pit and a sweet sauce that will rock your chops. A great menu with catfish, chicken fingers, grilled fish cajun style, hushpuppies, rolls, salads, slaws and a host of sandwiches, serve with french fries, onion rings baked potatos with delicious baked beans. I absolutely love Mud Creek Restaurant! It was the best experience ever! I think I know good food when I see and taste it considering im a big eater. Funny because i am a girl. In my opinion, this resturant can't be desribed in words because it is soooo GREAT!
I grew up eating Lek's BBQ, as it was called by the locals! Lek Carver was the best BBQ maker, ever! His recipe and wonderful BBQ tradition has carried on for two more generations! And, it's still the most delicious BBQ anywhere! And... I've eaten lots of BBQ all over the southeast! No where else ev...
Ate here in March with our favorite Aunt, while we were visiting from Michigan. The Blacked Shrimp was excellent, and the coconut cake was to die for. Best cake I have ever tasted.

I recently saw a couple very embarrassed when they brought another couple in their boat to the restaurant for lunch on Sunday only to find it closed. Please correct your answering machine message that states that you are open for lunch starting at 11 AM on Sundays. The appearance of your restauran...

The food was horrible. The more I think about the way we were treated and served the more upset I become! The fried fish was horrible, the hushpuppies mushy and the french fries greasy. We requested to sit at a normal table but was told we couldn't and were seated by the restroom. Do NOT recom...
