I was very disappointed to learn that Chef Leary is no longer employed at Nix, being that his name is still on the billboard and he is featured on the TV advertising. While he was there the food was superb. Now, it is ordinary. I would not frequent this restaurant again.
The food was exquisit and very well prepared. However I was ignored at the door while waiting to be seated. Also, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere until you see the manager. Cruela Devil is the only way to describe it.
THE FOOD AT THIS RESTAURANT IS OUTSTANDING; HOWEVER THE SERVICE STAFF IS COMPOSED MOSTLY OF YOUNGSTERS NOT PROFESSIONAL SERVERS.
