I was very disappointed to learn that Chef Leary is no longer employed at Nix, being that his name is still on the billboard and he is featured on the TV advertising. While he was there the food was superb. Now, it is ordinary. I would not frequent this restaurant again.

The food was exquisit and very well prepared. However I was ignored at the door while waiting to be seated. Also, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere until you see the manager. Cruela Devil is the only way to describe it.

THE FOOD AT THIS RESTAURANT IS OUTSTANDING; HOWEVER THE SERVICE STAFF IS COMPOSED MOSTLY OF YOUNGSTERS NOT PROFESSIONAL SERVERS. FOR THE PRICES NIX CHARGES THE WAIT STAFF SHOULD BE ADULT SERVERS WHO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THE MANAGER (DONT KNOW HER NAME) LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING OUT OF MIDEVIL TIMES....VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE. IF IT WASNT FOR THE FOOD THIS TRIP WOULD HAVE BEEN WASTED ENTIRELY. BEING SEATED IN THE MIDDLE PART OF THE DINING AREA MYSELF AND MY WIFE AND KIDS WERE SUBJECTED TO HOOTS ..HOLLARS...AND PROFANITY COMING FROM THE BAR AREA. NOT A PLACE TO TAKE SMALL CHILDREN.
