The food was excellent, the staff was wonderful (especially Tony), and the decor was amazing! I loved the hand carved and painted tables, chairs and booths. I will definitely be dining here again on my next visit to Alaska. Thanks for a great memory!
Pete's Barbeque is a far cry from East Texas, "dry rub". But over all it was the best BBQ that I have had and probably will have in the, "Great State of Alaska".
Stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a basic hot RB sandwich. Good gravey which to me is the most important part. Will go back.
I was visiting one fast food store, McDonald's, in Eagle River, Alaska, and there were no clean serving trays available, so the manager, probably twenty years old or so, decided to serve all customer's orders in 'to-go' bags. The dirty trays laid stacked on the garbage cans, and not one employee too...
