Diner reviews of Rail Diner
A diner from Rochester, NY
Oct 10, 2010
It's kind of hard to write a review for this place when I never even got served. I've been in the resteraunt business for years, so I am very patient and understanding, but this place was terrible. I sat and waited for 15 minutes and watched tables that came in after me get waited on while I sat there. The hostess even went up to a server and pointed to us, to try to make it clear that we hadn't even been greeted, and the server blew the poor girl off. I had finally had enough, and I left. I have never, gottan up and walked out of a resteraunt, ever! It's unbelievable that I sat there for 15 minutes, without a single staff member at least saying hello. It also didn't seem that clean either. That's probably why they've swithced the name 6 times.

Great diner! Donna is a great server. Starts when you walk thru the door, mmmmm, with a bittersweet ending. Great food, little cost. Just look at that ham!
