That is somewhat how it started. You grow up anywhere near Austin Texas; you cannot help but dream in BBQ. So back in 1979, the very first Pok-e-Jo’s opened its doors, quickly becoming the neighborhood BBQ joint the owners hoped it would and the #1 off premise BBQ catering company in Austin for Weddings and Corporate events.
Like all good things, word got around, and since that first little restaurant, Pok-e-Jo’s BBQ has grown right along with Austin until now there are five different restaurants, each one as unique as the neighborhood you’ll find it in. And count on this, no matter whether it is a Pok-e-Jo’s BBQ catering event in Austin or Round Rock or one of the restaurants you’re lucky enough to eat at, you’ll always find the same good BBQ and friendly folks who’ve been feeding BBQ to Austin, Round Rock and the Central Texas area for nearly thirty years now.
To those of you who have become regulars, whether in the last couple of weeks or over these last nearly thirty years, we would like to say a big thanks.
