Plentywood was started in 1932 as a Tea House by Katy Howell. A wonderful woman who knew how to work, cook and enjoy the best in life. Wow what an experience.

Pre cooked hamburgers. Hot on the outside and cold on the inside. Over cook at lunch and I get what's left over later in the day.

Best Pizza and Italain food ever! Small, friendly and great service, whether you dine in or take-out. Been going there for 20 years! The restuarant outlasted my two previous marriages--and both ex's enjoyed the food as well.

This fabulous restaurant in the suburbs of Chicago located in a building designed by a student of Frank Loyd Wright was torn down in the 1990's to give way to "progress" The only thing that gave any class to Bensenville is now a subdivision like any other in the USA.
