a diner from Eastchester, NY
We've been living in Westchester for about 50 years and although we have always seen "Pizza and Brew" restaurant, we had never dined there.

But, a few weeks ago, my wife and I decided to have dinner there for the very first time. We're both retired and are always looking for the best places to dine inexpensively.

So, we ordered the late luncheonr for $8.95 and decided to split it between us. For that you get soup, salad and a multitude of sandwiches to choose from. I really wasn't expecting too much since we ordered to inexpensively.

Well!...the soup was a minestrone, but so delicious!..that really surprised me!.. The abundant salad was quite good also, which we also split.

BUT, the fish sandwich was so good, that I was licking my fingers!. and of course my wife also split that with me too.
The soup was so good that my wife decided to ordered a dish for herself.

No, we didn't stuff ourselfs for what we paid for, but all in all we knew that we had found a wonderful restaurant that we would certainly go back to quite often.

Our bill came to something like $12.95, and we left a $2.00 tip.
Look, I know Mr Raccanelli will never get rich with customers like us, but I'm sure there will be times in the future when we will spend much more at his amazing restaurant.

I suspect Mr racconnelli is some sort of a "marketing genius" to be able to put out wonderful dishes and yet make a profit in a really tough business.

I suspect Mr Racconnelli doesn't use "extra virgin" olive oil in his dishes, but for those low terrific prices, I couldn't care less!..
I only hope I spelled his name right!......

Food was terribly over-priced. We had a decent waiter who was attentive, but barely spoke English. I guess they were promoting the busboys to waiters, figuring it's cheaper help....but service is really sacrificed. I asked the waiter a couple of que ...

We decided to try a new place for dinner and found a sheet of coupons for Amore Pizza... so we figured we would give it a shot. The coupon was for two pies and a 1.5liter bottle of coke for $20. When we got there, we saw that the special was now $2 ...
