Chef Gavin, formerly with Le Bec Fin, brings Center City-type food excellence to a family-friendly, budget conscious eatery. Last night there was a crush of diners as Piatto is catching on like wild-fire. The wait staff worked very, very hard to take care of everyone. It looked like a few folks did not understand the wait time, but that is typical of brand new restaurants with very sudden popularity and fame. We were very pleased with the food, the staff, and the lack of pretentiousness you find at many Main Line venues.
The pizza is out of this world,the sicilian is awesome. The hoagies and hot sandwiches are great. The salads, potato skins,chicken fingers are outrageous. Try the honey BBQ sauce...great!!!
