I went to Typhoon with a business associate. After the appetizer and before the main course was served I was engaged in a confidential conversation with my associate and the manager walked over and leaned over our table. He lingered there for a few minutes, making us feel uncomfortable. I final asked him if I could help him and he said he wanted to know if everything was. My associate, annoyed at the manager’s behavior said abruptly that everything is ok and began talking to me again. The manager then told my associate that he is rude and began to lecture him. My associate told him to go away and informed him that we are discussing a sensitive business issue. The manager walked several tables away, turned and from several tables away, loudly continued his debate on which of the two of them was the rude one.
If you like the ambience of a kindergarten playground, this is the restaurant for you.

Great restaurant for a good lunchtime hamburger at a reasonable price for the financial district in NYC. Some tables are noisy, but overall is a good value for price / product.

The managerial and hosts at this bar/restaurant are some of the worst I have ever experienced. We had a 9pm reservation for a private party space. Despite showing up promptly at 9pm and having put our credit card down
