Diner reviews of Osaka Hibachi Grill
A diner from Finksburg, MD

Just had dinner there. NEVER AGAIN! they just lost a patron. Yes the food was good but the service was absolutely horrible. Waited 40 minutes and then we said was the chef going to show up. Then had to ask what happened to the sushi ordered. it arrived as we were finishing the meal and I ahve served better looking fish to my cat. They were informed 4 different times that it was a birthday celebration and it wasnt until we were asked if we were ready for our checks that we again said it was a birthday. To add insult to injury we had three separated checks for 6 adults and 1 child and they still added the grautity of approx. $20.00 per check. By the way there were only three tables occupied in the resturant at this time. We were completely ignored by our server. After complaining they did remove the gratuity. I will never again set foot in that resturant. They definately lost customers this eveing.

If you plan on using your birthday coupons please take note. We had two separate parties that were celebrating birthdays and they charged us 20% gratuity because we had 6 total. We had two separate checks and they said it did not matter. They also would not honor two coupons because we knew each other. When confronting the manager/owner he did not care. One of our parties could not use the coupon for their birthday. Between that and the 20% I am done with Osaka. They are so unfair. My kids never want to go back either. They said it is not worth the aggravation.

The food is delicious and plentiful. I could eat here every night of the week! It is worth the drive from Catonsville.

The food here is delicious, the chefs are friendly, and best of all, there are plenty of bussers who'll keep your table neat and tidy throughout your stay!

Very nice converted train station that has won many awards, but the prices are a bit high and the service is poor. But its the best restaurant for miles around.
