This North Center BYOB specializes in huge signature maki such as the flaming (seriously, it's on fire) Heat Wave (spicy tuna and spicy shrimp with cucumber, avocado and tempura crunch) and the Cilantro Gimlet (tuna, whitefish, cilantro, jalapeno and avocado wrapped in soy paper and drizzled in a cilantro gimlet sauce). Flooded in dark hues and filled with tranquil music, the dining room and 13-foot sushi bar are low key and friendly, with the owner herself serving up maki, nigiri and a handful of Thai items.
