average food for a high price. Service is the worse that I have seen for a long time at any place, even by desi standards. The scene inside is chaotic and half the serving dishes are empty at the buffet table. I have seen this on the two times that I have been there. I am sure that this slow refiling of the food was no due to incompetence but by design. A great way to cut costs. If that is true I have a great suggestion for the owners: close the place sown for the way you are doing business there will be no customers left.

We picked the containers of food and we went out the door, without seeing what was in the container. We drove to a gathering at a friend's house and we took our share of the food to them.

We were surprised when we opened our tray of our food. We all felt that it was the worst Polao we had ever seen or tasted. No one touched that rice dish from your restaurant, it was dry and had a strong smell of Garam Masala and we felt very embarrassed. The food was like something left over from another party, mixed with some masala and given to us. We would like to know why? Did we make a mistake to order some food from "Lal Quila"? How can we ever trust and order for our next occasion without checking, tasting & seeing that it is worth ordering from Lal Quila? We were very disappointed in the whole experience. We don't like having to write a bad review but feel we ought to speak the truth.

Insanely expensive food for the quality and service v got!there were no napkins on our table and no one around to ask for.v helped ourselves with napkins frm adjacent table.V waited n waited for menu cards n they never came UNTIL v asked for them.Food is served but there are no dinner plates on the table!!v waited again and when the confused waiter n manager came close to our table,v asked for plates.ordered karahi gosht and brain masala. The meat in KG was really tough & gravy watery.Brain masala smelled like live brain!yuck it was.v hardly ate!!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! My husband and I went there rite when it had started its operations.Back then we hated it!V ordered Nihari but it tasted like a regular gravy n that too tastless! The girl/manager whose name apperas in all Lal Qila advertisements was confused n running here n there aimlessly. There were no trays to bring food out of the kitchen. The management is utterly disorganized!V decided to give it another shot yesterday. Now v dunt hate it,v abhor that place!!

I came across this website and saw the reviews other vegetarians had left on this restaurant. I recently went there, and being a vegetarian myself, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and felt there was a decent variety. I really enjoyed my experience and would recommend to anyone.

It was a horrible experience. The quality of food is really bad,the curries are tasteless,it was just filled with oil and it was not fresh either. Only good thing was nan over there, even the desserts were bad. 12$ + tax + tip is a total waste for that place.I am a vegetarian and there were 2 starters that day, named as "Veg rolls/pakoda". we went with a group of ppl, so they told me that the pakoda is made of chicken. Then i confirmed with the waiter that the other starter is veg and stared eating it. Then i realised that the veg roll also had meat in it. My friends said that even non-veg was not that good over there. I would not recommend anyone to go over there.

Absolutely terrible food. I am a vegetarian, but when I pay $13 for a buffet, I expect to get decent choices. Its was a total rip off. They had 2 very bland items and no rice dish for vegetarians. Service is equally bad with half of the buffet being empty most of the time. To top it off, the credit card machine was not working so they expected cash. Absolutely horrible place, DO NOT GO.

Overall an amazing restaurant. The decor is simply beautiful, great and friendly staff. The food is delicious with a great variety of food. Sunday brunch is like no other i've seen and seems to be very popular. The ambiance is great. Would definitely recommend this restaurant..you will no other pakistani/indian restaurant as nice as this!
