Diner reviews of Monti Diner
A diner from Bronx
Feb 5, 2013
Cannot believe this place. "Monti Diner" sucked as far as service and cleanliness. Prices were nothing special. The staff of women they hired seemed unprofessional and inexperienced. Food on the two occassions I ordered delivery, basically caused me to miss out on lunch entirely because of super slow deliveries. When I went to sit for lunch, was the last time I dealt with them. In short; dirty with signs of mice or rats, rude staff and out of many basic food items. The so called manager or owner tried to smooth things over like but came off like a clown! Mysteriously they closed and now have re-opened as MD Cafe & Lounge!!! Same dirty place, same bad attitudes!!!

I have been going to this diner for year. I remember it before the remodeling. Since they started remodeling some things have had to have longterm remodeling. I never had a problem with food personally and I like that

Workers looked sad. Manager needs to make their day happier the energy will be infectious to the customer, resulting in more purchasing = more profit for the location!
