The Modern Cafe can be called a postmodern diner with a 50's diner ambiance. The menu selection is small, but they have daily specials. I particularly like their Mac & Cheese dinner. They serve beer, wine, and wonderfully delicious coffee. I like the light hit on my pocketbook when I go there; the meals are reasonably priced.
