We've been frequenting this restaurant and are always pleased with the menu selections and quality of food. I think they make their own breads and they are fabulous on burgers, french dip, etc. Tonight we had pizza and I just wanted to write about it. (I needed the phone number so I thought I'd write this review.

Food was mixed - some good and some not so good but it was a long wait for all food.
Ambience was just okay - lot of dirty tables were left uncleaned when we were there.
Wait Staff - just one waitress who was not very pleased to be waiting tables - she was quite rude to us and other customers
Final - would not receommend this place - there are many better in the area ;-(

Very disappointing dining expereince!! RUDE Service & slow getting food out after you order. Minerva's has only 1 rude and condescending waitress & 1 cook. The food was okay but not worth the 50 minute wait and the rude treatment. She treated other people rudely too, not just us. Maybe Minerva should keep an eye on her to see how she is treating their customers.
Tables don't get cleaned off either since the 1 waitress has to do that too. So you are sitting there looking at lots of dirty tables while you wait for & then eat your food.
Take my advise & go somewhere else where your business is appreciated! There are plenty of other restaurants in the Fort Myers area that would love to have you come & would treat you kindly!!!

Met the rudest waitress ever, Jenn! Very condescending to us and to other diners sitting nearby. (We couldn't help but hear the rude things she said to them also). Who wants to go back to this place when you are treated like dirt? Certainly nobody I know!
The food was ok but somewhat on the pricey side. Another major problem is that it takes very long to get your food since there is only 1 cook. Minerva's has tables that are somewhat crammed together & a small bar area - doesn't make for the best ambience.
With only 1 crabby & rude waitress, it takes a long time for used tables to be cleaned so you may have to look at dirty tables during your entire dining experience at Minerva's.
Take my advise - go somewhere else! There are plenty of other restaurants in the Fort Myers area that would love your business & would treat YOU nicely!

First: Food was tasty.
Second: Service was verrrrrrry slooooow
Third: Portions were very small
Fourth: prices were high = $40.00 for 2 fish dinners

My friends, husband and I happened upon this restaurant on the way home from our IsXperia Convention in Sanibel. Can't say enough about the food not to mention how reasonable it was. We enjoyed everything and the friendliness and service of the staff was commendable. Would definitely stop by again.
