Sanger Restaurant Guide

I WOULD NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. THE SERVICE WAS VERY BAD. I USED MY ATM DEBIT CARD AND GOT BACK TO SAN ANTONIO AND FOUND OUT I GOT CHARGED TWICE FOR MY MEAL. NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH THIS PLACE.

Laura was our server she was great. She was on top of her game. The food was perfect as always and we had a wonderful time. Thanks

We were visiting from Gainsville for a baseball tournament. When we arrived there was just a few customers, the waitress was pleasant enough. Service was quick and polite. The food came quickly and large portions, we couldn't even finish it all. Chips were fresh made and warm, salsa was delicious, ( I make my own flour tortillas and salsa, so it takes a lot to impress me) I was pleasantly surprised. We orderd Steak fajitas and shrimp, Combo fajitas, Steak and Tilapia, and combo fajita quesadillas. Our drinks were replaced quicker than we could drink them. We even thought that the Tilapia order came with avocados slices and the waitress said no, but the wife of the owner over heard and she her self brought out the slices. Service was awesome! To top it all off the price was surprising. Only $69.00 We have eaten at other places like Chili's and paid more but not satisfied with the meal. I am invited some friends onFriday and going back up there even though I live in McKinney, Tx area, about an hour away. Great experience!

Once we got there the service was alright. The staff was friendly. There wasn't that many people either, and it took a while to get drinks refilled after the initial serving. The food came right out, but the chips tasted like reused oil, and we asked for tortillas and the taste was off as well. Needless to say, when we got the ticket, we got charged 6 bucks for tortillas, and we had 3 fajita orders. So we complained and got told some B.S. about how the machine was expensive and blah, blah. The manager came over and insisted we pay for the tortillas, we argued and then she discounted it to 2 dollars. What the heck, and the waiter was so rude afterwards. I almost lost it with him. Crappy, crappy service.

Good food, but not great. Too Tex-Mex for me. Not enough authentic "Mexican" dishes for me. Fajitas are great, salsa is awesome. Rellenos are ok, guisada is ok. All of my friends really like Mig's.
