If you don't enjoy the food at Mel's you dont know food or ain't from Texas. Chicken fried steak bests Goodsons. Fried catfish was never better in Louisana.

EXCELLENT FOOD IN A VERY PEOPLE FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE. VERY UNUSUAL. A MUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WORTH THE DRIVE FROM ANYWHERE.
