I placed an order through the drive-thru window. Before leaving the window I asked the employee if the order was complete, and she answered, "Yes." After I arrived at my home, I found the order to be short a Double Whopper. I called the location and spoke with the manager. I told him of the situation, and he answered, "We do the best we can." After returning to the store for a refund or replacement whopper, the manager said that they made no mistake, or it would still be under the heat lamp. To my shock and surprise I was just called a lier over $5.10. So not only did I just spend $27.77 and make 2 trips to the Burger King, I still have no refund or replacement whopper. What I do have is a memory of my Burger King experience being called a lier over $5.10 to share with every person I meet and work with the rest of my like.
