a diner from NY primary residence and Ca. winters
We made our first trip to Kuletos Trattoria, in Burlingame and were so disappointed! I love the Union Square Kuletos and dine there every night when I am in SF. The chairs had crumbs on them, all 3 of them, the silverware was dirty and the shell fish was bad! Inedible. Service in the empty restaurant, 2 PM, was terrible. Our waiter disappeared and we had to wait and wiat for him to show up. There was NO ONE around. We could hear them talking and laughing but couldn't see them. My rating for this location is very very poor. I dine out all the time and as I said Kuletos Union Square has top service, food and clean chairs and utensils. Shame on you in Burlingame! I had raved about this restaurant to my 2 friends who were my guests and were they surprised and I embarrassed. They must think I have horrid taste!

We had the Sunday Brunch which I do not recommend. High price and low value. We did not dine with the regular menu so I cannot rate overall, but please skip the brunch.

Very disappointed - haven't been there in a long time and will probably never go back - It should be completely updated - it is very stale in decor, food and service.
