We stumbled upon this restaurant when in town for an event at the Connecticut expo. It was extraordinary. The jerk chicken,curried chicken and collards were the best I have ever eaten and that includes in Jamaica! I can't wait to go back. Staff was lovely to us as well. We felt very welcome. We live an hour and a half away, but will make day trips to Hartford just for McGregors. THAT'S JUST HOW GOOD IT WAS

I have visited McGregors on many an occassion and I find the food to be very good and quite filling. Being from Hartford I can honestly say that this is one of the best places I have visited. I think they should consider expanding the restaurant so that many more people can come and enjoy one of their many delicious meals.
