The quality of service is totally dependant upon who your server is. The dark-haired waitress who we almost always see there is very attentive and on-the-ball, but with others, it seems to be a roll of the dice.
I've found the food to be quite good, with the exception of the fries (sweet potato and regular) which are always, *always* soggy and limp. Every time I order them (hoping that this time things will be better), I ask that they be "extra-crispy" and no matter what, limp & soggy. I think Max must hate me...

Probably one of the most overrated restaurants in the city. Every six months over the last three years we have visited the location only to be consistently let down on quality, portions, and particularily service. Better to wait in ine at Joe's on Hilliard Rd.

Max's Deli is incredible. It is a great place for good sandwiches and wonderful desserts. The atmosphere is casual and contemporary. It is really a fun experience.

Max's is just overall fun. The food is incredible! Large portions at a good value.
