Maria Bonita is a very good restaurant. The food is delicious and authentic. I especially like their Sunday brunch.

Best Mexican food we've had in Bakersfield. The staff is great, the food is delicious - especially the Club Quesadillas! Yummmy! And you can definitely taste the tequila in the margaritas. That's a plus! The ambience is not formal, so it's a great family place. There is plenty of space to spread out so that the dining experience feels relaxed.

My wife and I ate there for the first time a couple of days ago. We are both vegetarian and called in to ask what they had for us to eat. The man that answered was helpful and we decided to go. We were the only ones in the restaurant at about 4pm. We ordered 2 #10's--enchilada and chile relleno and asked to make sure their was no dead animals in the food. We ate most of it and took the rest home. The next day, I found chicken pieces in my enchilada. I went back to the restaurant to complain about it and was told I could have a gift certificate for another meal. I don't want to eat there again, so I declined. I don't understand how hard it would be to keep the meat out of a dish when the restaurant is basically empty. We will never eat here again.

Some of the best mexican food in Bakersfield and there plenty mexican restaurants to choose from. I always get the steak fajitas and a cool margarita....or two.

We eat here a lot and always enjoy the food. However, I decided to try the chicken alfredo and I didn't even want to eat it. The sauce and chicken both came out of a can, I am sure. But I would come back for the lasag
