Let me start with this is a dark dingy looking place.We went for lunch @ 12:45. Only two other tables were occupied. Half of the buffet containers were empty. My husband asked if they were going to refill the containers.He said yes, but they only put a small amount in two containers.There were only three appetizers on the buffet. No chicken wings or fingers. Fifteen minutes later my husband asked again were they going to refill the containers. We were told yes. They didn't.Let me also say it was the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten.When I was presented with the check by someone we assumed to be the manager I told him they never refilled the buffet trays his answer to me was they are very busy in the kitchen. I read two reviews before we went I should have listened to the negative review The positive must have been written by the owner.

The Mandarin Restaurant is a bit of a misnomer. It should be called the Mandarin Bar. There are rarely any diners in the restaurant proper. The bar, however, is always filled with aging drinkers--thus the 1 star for "Kid Friendly" and "Ambience".
The food is mediocre, at best. The Egg Drop Soup is extremely watery. The Boneless Spare Ribs were not very lean. The Egg Roll would be more properly called a Spring Roll.
The entire restaurant overall looks very aged and not "sparkling" clean.
For a better experience and better food, try Chen Yang Li or the Lilac Blossom

Great food!! The owner and staff are all very friendly. Best Chinese food in the area. We've been going there for years and have never been disappointed.
