Friendly service by the owner and superb staff. The owner was previously the owner of Mo's Midtown with the title "best breakfast in Hartford". It is only a matter of time before the title follows the owner.
The best pancakes, home fries, eggs benedict, home fries, pulled pork, burgers, & polish food. (try the beet soup, I never thought I'd like it either, it's my favorite on the menu now)

This is one of the last of the actual hometown diners with so much great food and terrific service, you cannot go wrong by stopping in for a great meal at a great price.
A delicious breakfast, with home fries perfectly done. Their main meal menu, whether you are stopping in for lunch or dinner are chock full of delicious choices. I absolutely enjoy every time I get a chance, dinning here.

They had the most amazing Red Beet Soup with potatoes!!! YUMMY :) I can't wait to have it again

The food is very fresh and delicious; the owners-who are always present serving and chatting with the customers-are very friendly and welcoming, as is the ambience. My son, who has special needs and cannot tolerate the great majority of restaurants, loves Makris and feels very comfortable and happy whenever we visit. The restaurant and the kitchen are immaculate; the price of each meal is extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Makris. You will feel that you have certainly gotten your money's worth.

Great prices - a little run down. Offers a wide variety of meals - bfast, lunch and dinner. Parking is a bit tight at peak times.

City Fish has the best quality seafood. Their dining room is beautiful and comfortable. It is cafeteria style, so there are no servers, but the employees are very kind and accommodating. Delicious food!

Very creative menu and sides. Love the selection and option to create my own sandwich. They are open for dinner at the Glastonbury location on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Its BYOB (no corkage fee).
