We were recently at Elaine's for a get-together after a funeral. The arrangements had been pre-arranged and the management changed the setup twice which was amenable to our host on the condition that he be allowed to use the handicapped bathroom in the other room. When it came time to use the bathroom...the door was locked to get access to the room. When he inquired on it, the elderly female manager proceeded to yell at him and said he had to use the normal bathroom which was a hardship for him. He mentioned that the owner had agreed to allow him access but she would not hear of it. Just a total unprofessional approach in treating the clientele. Creating a scene in front of the whole restaurant. Not a way to ever be treated let alone at such a somber event as this. You can be certain that none of my family, friends or acquaintances will ever set foot in this restaurant again.

I have never been so shabbily treated at a restaurant in my entire life!! I made the huge mistake of subjecting my family to the Easter brunch on April 24th, 2011... We had spent previous Easters there and eaten there since the restaurant opened, but this event was so poorly planned and supervised, EVERYTHING was wrong from the beginning! -- They decided to maximize their profit by jamming so many tables into the place that I had to request that ours be shifted so that we could get into our seats... But, that was NOTHING compared to what happened next- The long buffet table suddenly acquired a line 150 people long! No, I'm NOT kidding! For the next half hour, our party of 9 was separated, some waiting at the end of the line with little kids, me sitting with my handicapped parents, who COULD NOT stand that long to get their food. No provisions had been made for this occurrence, and when I complained, their was confusion and finally an offer to put some plates together for my mom and dad.
I got pretty mad, admittedly, as we sat there, waiting for the rest of the family to return from exile. It ruined the meal, and by the time I got my food, mostly everyone else was finished eating and my stomach was ruined because of the disaster that the day had become- I couldn't eat; my dad was rushing to catch up and couldn't- he requested a container to take his meal (basically untouched) home, and was denied that 'privilege'... I told the waitress that my food should be removed from the bill because of the intolerable conditions. (I ate 3 bites and couldn't continue after an argument started at the table because I objected to our treatment). The waitress went to 'check' with the management, but the bill was never adjusted-
Stay FAR away from this restaurant! They couldn't care less about their guests and it was just a horrendous experience!!

I visted Elaine's Resturant for my first time tonight with my mother and younger sister. We arrived at elaine's around 7 pm upon walking into the restaurant we were NOT greeted nor spoken to. The man at the front desk simply took three menus and walked us to a table. After waiting at least 15 minutes a waiter finally comes over and asked for our order not even mentioning her name or even showing interest in us. After coming out with the drinks my younger sister relizes that she picked the wrong water flavor so she asked another waitress nearby to switch her water. Minutes after the other waitress goes into the kitchen,then our own waitress comes out like" Oh you didnt like the water what can I get you then?" In not such a friendly voice considering we were the customers. Throughout the entire night my family and I were receiving stares from other customers in the restaurant and cleary to me it felt like it was the 1950's all over again considering we are of african-american race. I feel that we were being disrespected and that as if we were a disgrace to the community. When we were about to leave, my little sister heard the waitress and the waiter in the kitchen, saying mean remarks about us. We were VERY unhappy and when we got home we made a complaint. When we called, the guy knew EXCATLY who we were as if they knew they gave us bad service. When we told him that we felt like we were treated with disrespect,he said "well why didnt you tell us?" he did not ONCE apologize about the horrible service. My mother just wanted to take us out to a nice family dinner, and it turned out to be awful.

City Fish has the best quality seafood. Their dining room is beautiful and comfortable. It is cafeteria style, so there are no servers, but the employees are very kind and accommodating. Delicious food!

wow what a great place the food is out of this world and surprised by price 6 bucks for all you can eat breakfast with unlimted orange juice and chocolate milk my kids were in heaven i make it a regular start to my weeke

Very creative menu and sides. Love the selection and option to create my own sandwich. They are open for dinner at the Glastonbury location on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Its BYOB (no corkage fee).
