At the peak of the Maine Courses existence It was the best seafood you could find in the desert. I for one am very sad that the Maine Course is no longer with us! It's a sad story that is all to common in the restaurant business. Mom and Pop just couldn't keep it afloat trough these most uncertain of times. The over flooding of corporate monsters is killing our food scene all over the country. People travailing are drawn to familiar names pounded into their heads trough multi-million dollar add campaigns. This leaves mom and pop joints out in the cold all to often. My hat is off to Owners Diane Novilo, Jerry Arema and Von Marshal. You will always be missed in the Tucson restaurant scene.
They just opened a few weeks ago. It used to be a place called Chuy's. I stopped going into Chuy's because the Manager was rude to me when I politely asked to turn the 105 decibel juke box down a bit.
