They just opened a few weeks ago. It used to be a place called Chuy's. I stopped going into Chuy's because the Manager was rude to me when I politely asked to turn the 105 decibel juke box down a bit.
THIS IS NOT CHUYS!!!!! It really is a great place, the manager and staff are all NEW and really nice, so many of Chuys staff looked like parolees. My first experience is the kind of treatment I search for in a restaurant and bar. I ordered the rack of baby back ribs and the first few ribs had a fantastic rub on them, superb taste ... an obviously good chef, But alas a few ribs in they went from light pink to undercooked. {learning the refrig verse freeze is probably what happened} Well NO Guff the polite manager (Young Guy Jesus possibly) made it right. Beyond right!!!
They first offered to replace it and I did not want to do that so they offered any other dish free of charge to make up.. Well they hired a REAL Chef there. I got a dish called "Shrimp Poblano". The Poblano sauce was world class, Not something I would expect in southwest Tucson and at these reasonable prices. I asked the chef If I could try his Ancho Chile Cream sauce and again a world class sauce. They use that on a scampi dish. I dont know where this chef went to school but WOW!!!
I am going back this week they say they are getting wifi installed and I love to work online and have a few cocktails in the daytime... My new local hangout!!!

A TON of fun! Nothing else like it in Tucson. Do everyone a favor and leave the little kids at home and pay the babysitter with what you would spend on the meal. Older kids (Jr. High and up) might pretend they are too cool to enjoy, or be embarrassed ...

good food but too pricey for small portions.
American, Fast Food
