We were in Stillwater in February 2005 for the weekend. I only wish we would have found this restaurant on the first day and not the last.
Of the four placed we dined in Stillwater, this was without a doubt the best.
It has a very Napa Valley feel to it, with an abundance of wines available to sample and view. Italy meets Napa Valley describes it well. Wine racks are everywhere.
Surprisingly, even with all the stone, the atmosphere is hushed and very pleasant. It can be very romantic or nice for either the family or group of adults. With four separate rooms available for seating, they do an excellent job of seating you in a room that fits your needs. This is truly an advantage this restaurant has over its contemporaries in Stillwater.
The food and service are excellent. All courses are appropriately priced for the portion size and type. The menu is varied, but mostly an Italian flare. For lunch, the "make your own pasta dish" is excellent. The staff is very helpful with the extensive wine list.
