Lynchburg Restaurant Guide

I ordered a 9 0z Filet Mignon meal on Friday, Mar 21, 2008 at about 7:45 pm, medium rare. Upon receiving the meal, the Filet Mignon was more rare than medium rare. I had cut the steak in 4 to 5 areas looking for a more cooked area and could not find one. The waitress took my steak back and said they would fix it, then returned and said the manager would be out with my steak. The mgr came with my same steak, near well done and looking like it had been in world war 3. I paid $17.99 for a sloppy expensive steak dish. I am not able to express myself face to face, I tend to just say it's okay, so therefore I accepted it back foolishly, and ate a bit of it and left the rest. I do know I will not visit this restaurant again, as much as my Granddaughter loves it and I will not recommend it. I should have received a new steak properly cooked, my whole meal should have been taken so that the whole meal was hot when it was returned. At near $20 a plate, better service from the management of this restaurant should have been used. I rate this restaurant as a 1 star, but I will say the waitress was excellent and very tenative, she gets a 5 star
