Four of us enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the outdoor patio this week. the food was great, prices moderate ($15-$20) and the service was excellent. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant evening. I had the Kabob dinner ($20) and the meat was as tender as filet mignon, served with salad, veggies and mushrooms.

After reading the reviews here, my date and I decided to try it. We drove several miles out of the way from the usual lebanese restaurant we frequent. We were seated promptly and the guy was nice enough to assure us that a party with a crying baby was about to leave. The waiter was really slow to get back to the table to take our order. We both ordered sandwhiches - which was the sole reason we went there. We'd been told they were exceptional - only to be told that they wouldn't serve us the sandwiches because it was "after hours". 7PM is after hours? Their menu doesn't state what items are served when, and neither does their website. After explaining to the waiter that we came there for the sandwiches and it was our FIRST visit he went to check in the back, only to come back to tell us the same thing. Clearly they don't care about making an impression. The place had two tables full and it's not like we're taking away business from higher paying customers - would it have been that difficult to wrap our order in a pita? We decided to leave and get Thai down the road. Needless to say, we will not be going back and we've shared out experience with our friends and family.

We had Le Chef deliver shish tawook to our home the day after Thanksgiving. Everyone raved about the food - even the teenagers. We decided to do it again next year. Thank you Le Chef and Melissa!

Today was my first visit to this new restaurant and I definitely will be back. The food was very good and the portions are generous. It is a bit pricey but the food was great, the portions were large and I left very satisfied. Desserts were out of this world!!!! A very good deal in my opinion! The atmosphere is very casual dispite the upscale decor. Can't wait to bring my lunch buddies here.

Im not lebanese but my wife is and we both thought the foosd was awesome! I eat leb 3 days a week for lunch on the east side at various places that range in the 7 to 10 dollar meal range and they are good but le chef is definetly a step above in quality and taste. this truly a great dinig experience.

ALL YOU PEOPLE THAT SAY THIS PLACE IS NOT GOOD ARE A BUNCH OF JOKE! YOU MUST NOT BE LEBANESE! BECAUSE I'M LEBANESE AND THIS IS HOW LEBANESE FOOD SHOULD TASTE!!! THE PLACE IS SOO PRETTY ON THE INSIDE THE SERVERS ARE AWESOME! THE CHICKEN SHAWARMA AND TABOULIE ARE AMAZING! IT MIGHT BE PRICEY BUT YOU GET WHAT U PAY FOR! I DON'T MIND PAYING MORE FOR REAL FOOD! GO TO DEARBORNN FOR NASTY 3 DOLLAR SANDWHICHES! STOP HATING ON THIS PLACE ITS GREAT!!! P.S I WORK AT SAMS CLUB AND GO THERE FOR LUNCH EVERYDAY! THERES NO BETTER PLACE!

The Service was slow, the food was plain, the menu is pricey. The menu doesn't allow you to substitute anything, so most of the time your looking a bunch of items that you don't have any interest in eating. They trick you with the way the menu is setup, for example. A sandwich with hummus, fries and a drink is gonna cost you around $20. The sides are over priced also. Like i said there isn't anything that taste to special on the menu. Maybe the Schwarma, if you wanna be conservative.

Definatley not better than a La Shish. We asked the owner if he could serve wine, he told us no. Later that evening we saw him serving wine to some Lebanese customers which was not appreciated. just a hummus and rice will run you about $15. We also saw employees taking bread from a table and putting it in a new basket. Food was plain and nothing really to impressive. Overall, a horrible place to enjoy a family meal.

THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! WILL BE BACK!!!

I also attended the grand opening at Le Chef Restaurant and we had a great time. The guy under me seems to be a little jealous because all the hor d'oeuvres that were passed out during the grand opening were just a simple taste of what they offer for catering. Obviously he didn't stay for the dinner afterwards because it was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. The food was amazing and a real taste to what Lebanese food is. No restaurant compares in the Detroit metro area and if anyone wants to try a good CLEAN AND HEALTHY place should go to this restaurant. I recommend that the guy below me comes back to the restaurant and actually gives it a try rather then not trying it at all and posting nonsense. I also had the chance to meet the Chef and had a talk with them, they told me that their experience for the restaurant is 35 years. I never had such food, the garlic is beyond amazing i also love eating it with the pita bread.
5 STARRRRRRRSSS ALL THE WAY TO THIS RESTAURANT.

Last night I attended the Grand Opening at "Le Chef". They served standard Lebanese appetizers, none of which tasted as good as a typical appetizer from Costco. I love Lebanese food (when it's good), but ironically, the biggest hit of the evening for everyone was their pizza-like appetizer (it was the only item that wasn't pretty much tasteless). This restaurant is being taunted as the "Cadillac" of Lebanese cuisine, and given the pricey menu, patrons deserve much, much better. Your dollar is better spent elsewhere (probably even a cheap burger joint). After leaving this place, you'll most assuredly be shaking your head at what you've just done.
