I went for the Greek salad after reading good reviews about this restaurant. I grew up around Lowell Mass that has a very large Greek population. Every pizza place in the 70's & 80's was owned by Greek immigrants & they made the best Greek salads. Laki's is the worst Greek salad I ever had & it was extremely over priced. Ham has no place in a real Greek salad & the dressing isn't as good as you'd get in a bottle at Publix.

OH GOODNESS WHERE DO I START? I AM FROM MINNESOTA AND LOVE GYROS!!! I MOVED DOWN HERE TO OCALA 10+ YEARS AGO AND AM UPSET THAT I NEVER KNEW THEIR WAS A PLACE IN THIS TOWN THAT MADE THEM UNTIL ABOUT TWO MONTHS AGO! I NEVER GO OUT TO EAT BECAUSE I HAVE MEDICAL ISSUES THAT MAKES GETTING ABOUT A LITTLE TUFF, BUT I WENT THERE PERSONALLY YESTERDAY AND THEY WERE EXCELLENT!!!!! FOR THE 2 MONTHS PRIOR I HAD MY HUSBAND GO THERE AND GET THEM TO TAKE OUT, AND HOME FOR ME. :) I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS OF ANYTHING BUT HAD TO WRITE THIS ONE AND HOPE THEY SEE IT SO THEY KNOW HOW PLEASED I AM. EXCELLENT SERVICE, AND I'M SURE I'LL BE SENDING MY HUSBAND BACK FOR GYROS OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!! KELLIE
