We ordered 2 orders of stuffed shells,shells were so tough we could not cut them with a steak knife. Waitress came over looked at the plates and said she could see a definate problem. She would see if she could reduce the cost of our meals(we did not ask for a reduction we wanted them to know). As we paid she advised the owner said NO he would do nothing about the meals. As he walked by us we attempted to talk to him about the meals and he IGNORED us and kept walking. This place has BAD FOOD,and WORSE OWNERSHIP. This was not our first time but will be our LAST.

My hisband & I ate there for the first and last time tonight. The waitresses did nothing but chatter so if there was any ambience we sure couldn't find it. My husband ordered blacked grouper and it wasn't really blackened, to make matters worse, they added some sort of spice to it that left a nasty taste in your mouth, plus the fish was slimy. After two bites, one of which I ate, he asked the waitress to take it back. They never even offered to adjust our bill. The cole slaw tasted as if they had rinsed off the spices, the only thing that was good was the white fish I had and I know it wwas frozen. I use to own a restraunt and I would never let a customer who was not satified leave like they did us.

My family and I ate at Crossroads on 7-31-09. We
had fish fry(white fish and Catfish)the fish seemed
to have been taken from freezer and cooked so it was kind of gel-like. I don't think the cooking oil was hot enough and of course the middle of
my second piece of catfish was cooked on the outer sides but kind of raw in middle. Our bill was $34, and was not worth it at all.
We didn't make an issue of it because our waitress was nice. But,I can't believe this is the same owner from Griffin Rd,in Ft Lauderdale.

I use to work at shell food restaurant in Ocala, Florida on 25th avenue. When I work there their food was great!

Renovated and looks great, nice and clean. Pizza is best I have ever had ( i travel all over the US), the saute and baked dishes are even better. Chicken Marsala is unreal, Francaise Is my favorite. Prices are cheap f

Their Burritos de Asada (steak burritos) are my personal must have food item. Simple steak with onions and cilantro wrapped in a lightly grilled flour tortilla, the way nature intended. Ask for a wedge of lime. Perfectio
