Diner reviews of Kyoto Japanese Steak House
A diner from Rowlett, TX
Dec 22, 2009
My family took me there for my birthday dinner and we were appauled to find a roach in my son's dinner. When we approached the manager with the issue we were told that being a resturant on the lake finding a bug in our food was not unusual! We were told that the only thing they would do is re-cook his food. Not sure about you but finding a bug on a plate in your party seems to warrant leaving the resturant immediately! The manager also asked me if I had ever found a bug in my food at my house and I told her that I had not...she then pointed her finger at me and said that was "bullsh**"....beyond unprofessional. Never again will I go to this resturant. Enter at your own risk!

Exquisite food, sushi to die for, extraordinarily good service. Best restaurant in Rowlett, by far.

this one is high end for sure. very rarely do you have to tolerate bad parents here. "it is for grown ups." sory bart, calvin, lucy and the rest.
eat with a view of the lake, or up at the hibachi grill with the chef. everything you would expect on the menu. it is all prepared very well. The service is always outstanding! be prepared to drop some cash here though.

Great service. Wonderful food. We go for the crab legs and shrimp. If you ask, you can get cartoons for the kids instead of the droll of sports. Nice place!!! Worth the drive.

Great place for breakfast, plenty of seating, plenty of parking and young wait staff. If you like hot stuff, ask for their habanero sauce. I like it over migas. Well managed and the manager is always visible.

I love Love this palce. It is just a little hole in the wall kind of place, but the food is awesome, and the margaritas are to die for. They are always packed, so if u go be prepared to wait or even sit out on the patio!
