Our favorite place to eat in Chattanooga. The workers are extremely nice, efficient and friendly and the food just great, (their coconut cake just really wonderful).

I ate at jenkins restaurant one weekend while visiting some of the wife's family. The food was edible but not great and the service was nothing to write home about. The main problem that I have with the place is their prices were high as hell. We didn't get out of there without spending 30+ dollars I don't believe. Which is quite high for a lunch for two adults one six-year-old and a baby. What was a first for me was being charged for baby to eat. Definitely would not go back again if I want to pay that kind of price I'll eat at carrabas..

The food is excellent especially the fried chicken,every day, and the steak and gravey on Tuesday. Clean and friendly but it's getting "pricy". By the time you tip it's a $10.00 lunch. No senior discounts I know of and no option on drinks or just water the price of the drink is in the food price.

I enjoy going to Jenkins Country Buffet. It has the best fried chicken in town, and has honest to God country cooking "like Grandma used to make". The seasoning used doesn't contain MSG, to which I am allergic, which is the added bonus. It is worth the trip!
