E Sushi

As someone who used to work in the restaurant business, things have to be pretty bad for me to complain. I am quick to compliment, but seldom say anything negative. I would not darken the doors of this place again if they were giving food away and I hadn't eaten in three weeks. The food is mediocre. The service is mediocre (server was really friendly, but we got our appetizer AFTER our entrees). Here's the kicker, I had a restaurant.com voucher for $25. The certificate/voucher clearly states you must spend $37.50. The manager told me I would have to spend $50 (not what is stated on the certificate), so I placed a to go order (easier than arguing). She then refused to accept the voucher because I was using the app. on my phone rather than presenting a paper certificate...WHAT????? I proceeded to call Restaurant.com, and they were extremely upset. They actually credited my account, and will contact the owners in the morning. I am always pleasant and friendly. The manager literally made a scene, while I just sat with my mouth closed. She raised her voice, and told me I didn't know what I was talking about. It was terribly embarrassing for me and my daughter. Hell would freeze over before I would give anyone who is so awful- acting one dime of my hard-earned money. DO NOT GO TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. If you want amazing sushi in Chattanooga, go to Rain or Sushi Nabe, I would consider both of these establishments exceptional.
